A couple of years ago I took a Programmering 1 class, just for fun. I found this very interesting but as I was still working at my old job, I did not get a chance to dive deeper nor get use of this knowledge. Seeing this class advertised, I thought it the perfect opportunity to build on that interest.

I am excited to expand my knowledge and skills further. I think learning  how to work the web in depth is a good step to open more doors in this digital world. Marketing your skills and yourself, having an eyecatching, functional digital presense, seems to be key to success in most things these days. As I feel the need to build this presens for myself to be "seen" by the world, I also realize the importance of these functions for others to do the same.

Finding your commitment to helping women and those often left in the sidelines to gain these skills, furthere sparked my interest for this class. I am the mother of 2 daughters, both having stuggles to adjust to the demands of this world. Contributing to building these skillsets the course teach for women I feel is a big step forward to build more equality.

The digital worlds impact and importance in our lives is an evergrowing fact and by learning to navigate and control our own input into it, we gain a bit of power to influence where it is heading.
