Welcome to my corner of the digital world! I'm LadyAByte, a middle-aged mum from Stockholm, Sweden, weaving magic with 3D technology, and the artistry of a circus mind. I'm thrilled to share my journey and skills with you, especially as I embark on this new learning adventure.

3D Technician & Artistic Soul

My passion lies in bringing ideas to life through 3D modelling and design. Newely graduated I need to build my experience and knowledge base. The 3D Tech education covered the basics of many different programs and how to tie them together to produce printable models. This has turned me into a bit of a "Jack of all Trades", with a good overview of what the tech can do, but I have yet to gain the deeper knowledge and expertise that comes with diving deep into this kind of software. I look forward to this submersion and hope I can find a place where I can grow into the expert I would love to be. From concept to creation, I enjoy every step of the process!

The "Jack Of All Trades"

I wear many hats! Beyond 3D artistry, I also have a strong background in administration.

I have seen many different companies and performed many different tasks for my employers. I spent a few years working as a consultant for different temp agencies where I learned the importance of adaptability and being a good listener. As a result of these years, I have grown used to having to learn the new skillsets needed for the moment and I find I enjoy that challange. 

I also enjoy creating order out of chaos and tend to leave a workplace better organized than it was when I started.

Thess diverse skillsets allows me to get a good overview of what is needed for a project, ensuring practical efficiency. I believe my adaptability and willingness to learn make me a valuable asset.

LIFE WITH BETTY

Betty is the nickname I have given my mobility scooter. Her and I go on a great many adventures all throughout the year. In sunshine and rain, for a swim on a hot summers day or driving to and from (at bunnyspeed) in the snowstorms, we do it all toghether these days.

Having her has expanded my world immensely, now that I do not have to depend on my legs to get them there. But it is still a limited life.

Due to a couple of chronic illnesses, I have daily doses of pain and exhaustion. It is limiting my life in many ways, but, I do belive in finding ways to do the things I need and enjoy. If I cannot do it physically anymore, I might be able to do it digitally. And that is where my passion for digital worlds and presence has grown to almost a mission. To use these tools to enrich our lives. For knowledge and experiences that may not have been within reach without these tools. To open doors that otherwise remain closed or out of reach.

This is also why I have found studies at Distance such a great way to help me expand my univers and knowledge. It allows me to partcicipate inspite of my physical inability.
